Missions Conference 2011 Update: Schedule

Thursday, October 13th, 7 pm – Our Guest speaker is Missionary Yann Jouan, who will be leaving soon to start a Church in France.

Friday, October 14th, 7pm – The One Man Volleyball Team, Bob Holmes will be leading a special youth orientated meeting. All ages are welcome for the service starting at 7:00, but there will be a special campfire and hotdogs gathering for the young people afterwards.

Saturday, October 15th, 5:30 pm – Our annual Missions Banquet will feature chicken & pasta with fries followed by special guest speaker, Sean Carew from the Providence Rescue Mission.

Sunday, October 16th – Our regular 10 am morning service will feature a special video presentation from Missionaries to Zambia, John and Lorna Sarra, in lieu of being able to visit us in person. While the adults listen to the morning message from Pastor Speroni, the children will have a Special Children’s service with Ann Roon of Children’s Haven.

Our regular evening service at 7 pm will feature Mike Rizzuti, a Church planter in Connecticut.

The Missions Committee has scheduled a movie and dessert night for Saturday, October 1st, 2011 beginning at 6 pm.

Annual Missions Conference October 2011

 

Our Annual Missions Conference is coming up quickly. The dates are
October 13 – 16.

Friday Evening will be Youth Night. Everyone is welcome to the service,
however after the service there will be a campfire and hotdogs for the
young people.

Saturday will be our Annual Missions Banquet beginning at 5:30pm
with a service to follow.

We are looking forward to a great time. But most importantly, please
be in prayer about what God would have you to do in terms of giving
to the World Missionary Outreach of our Church on a weekly basis
for the coming year. We will be taking up our Faith Promise
Commitment Cards in the Sunday Morning service.

Annual Business Meeting 9/19/11

 

The Annual Business Meeting of the Pascoag Community Baptist
Church
will be held in the Fellowship Hall on Monday, September 19
at 7:00pm. If you are planning to resign from a particular ministry or
wish to get involved in a different ministry, please see the pastor.
Otherwise we will assume that you wish to continue in your present
position.

Choir Practice Begins 9/11/11

 

Pascoag Community Baptist Church’s Choir will start the new season with practice Sunday Evening, September 11th at 6pm before the regular Sunday Evening Service.

Old-Fashioned Tent Revival

 

We Have been invited to an Old-Fashioned Tent Revival being held Monday August 8th through to Friday August 12th at Owen Bell Park in Dayville Connecticut. The meetings are sponsored by Calvary Bible Baptist Church. Services will be held each night from 7 – 9.

 

Pastor Speroni will be preaching on opening night.

Church Picnic Rescheduled

 

Due to bad weather, our Annual Church Cookout has been rescheduled for August 21st, at Children’s Haven Camp in Douglas, MA beginning at 1:00pm.

 

There are sign-up sheets on the back tables. The church will supply the hotdogs, hamburgers and soft drinks. We need you to supply all the other things that are enjoyed at a cookout.

 

You will also need to bring along a lawn chair. If you plan to play softball, make sure you bring a glove.

 

The evening service will be held at the cookout. Come prepared to share a testimony.

Community Christian School Cleaning Day

 

On Saturday, August 20th, we will be holding a cleaning day for Community Christian School. We need your help in getting the school ready for opening day on August 29th. We will begin at 9:00am. Hope to see you there. Remember, "Many hands make-light work."
